This one was commissioned by Steve Pearlman, to celebrate his wife Barbara, a pioneer in the field of personal training (and an avid gardener).
Everyday Superheroes (2017)
Sasha’s “Everyday Superheroes” fundraiser on behalf of the American Civil Liberties Union has now collected over $8,000 toward a $10,000 goal. She has received recognition from US Senator Kamala Harris (California) and ACLU President Susan Herman wound up commissioning one.

The project has been covered by Huffington Post, A Plus, DNAinfo, and the West Side Rag.

If you would like to commission an Everyday Superhero, please see the contact info at the bottom of this page.

Huffington Post
Liz FitzGerald, a spokesperson from the ACLU, told HuffPost that Sasha is proof that anyone can help fight for others’ rights. ‘We love this project because it shows that everyone has a role to play in fighting for our rights, not just lawyers who work at the ACLU.’”
West Side Rag
Sasha described the thinking behind her project: ‘I think a lot of people feel a little bit powerless. The point is to make people feel empowered. Everyone has something that makes them special, even if it seems ordinary.’”
